OUR MISSION: The Friends of Richfield Heritage Preserve (Friends) is a nonprofit advocacy group partnering with the Richfield Joint Recreation District to preserve, protect, enhance and promote Richfield Heritage Preserve.
OUR VALUES: All people need a quiet place to connect with nature in our complicated world - Ohio’s Hidden Treasure™ Richfield Heritage Preserve provides that experience. Founded in 2009, the Friends of Richfield Heritage Preserve (Friends) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving historic buildings, natural heritage and cultural legacy of this 336-acre park. We value engaging the community through educational programs led by volunteers - highlighting outdoor recreation, land stewardship, the arts, science and history. Through advocacy, donor funding and collaborative work with the park administration and community partners, our all-volunteer board strives to ensure that historic structures throughout the Camp Crowell Hilaka Historic District are preserved and this heritage is utilized to enrich the community.
