FoCH Meeting October 13, 2015
Agenda for October meeting:
- Evaluting the Kirby Birthday event: what was good, what could have been better, wild ideas for next time
- Brainstorming potential uses for Kirby’s Mill
- voting on regulation change and ( hopefully ) temporary officers
An EMERGENCY VOTE The FoCH board hopes that our membership will approve changes to our code of regulations that will allow us to appoint officers to fill vacancies until the next regular election. Our former Vice President Lucy Hanigosky served for five years before stepping down to take a position as volunteer coordinator for the RJRD. Our current secretary Barb Starr would like to focus her energy on keeping track of membership records, the secretary position open. We found out the hard way that the organization runs much more smoothly when we have a full slate of officers! If the membership so votes, the board would be allowed to recommend temporary officer candidates to the membership . The membership would need to confirm them.
Hoping that the membership will approve this plan, the board recommends Beth Sanderson for VP & Lynn Richardson for secretary. If confirmed, they will serve until the 2016 elections.
