The purpose of the open house was two-fold: to help Richfield citizens become involved in the strategic planning process by showing them inside the historic buildings which had never before been open to the public, and to show how the 2014 bond money had been spent. Open house participants were given the following handout on funding sources

Baldwin Wallace University ran an insect station on the left lawn of The Lodge.

Molly Eastwood (foreground, in blue) brought Sunny to meet children and to represent the park's bridle trails.

Oviatt House, Inc. set up an information station under the shade of the Old Oak Tree. They originally hoped to include Oviatt House as one of the open house stops, but concluded that there was too much construction.
