RHP open House June 12, 2022
First, there came an enormous amount of preparation to show the park at its best.
In the weeks leading up to the open house, Friends' TLC crew (Trash, Latrine, and Cleaning) took extra time for "beautification" chores. We worked with RJRD's Jeff DeLuca and the park's Saturday Crew director Susan Cz to divide the work. The Saturday crew prepped Chagrin Valley Cabin, Gemini Cabin, and Hilltop House. RJRD Event Coordinator Shari Green took care of The Lodge. The Friends prepped Kirby House, Amity House, and North House.
For the day itself, the Friends were responsible for organizing docents at all the above listed sites, plus Kirby's Mill.
