Welcome to the Winter Wonders Bakery page!
Hello fellow bakers!
It's been a few years --2019 to be exact -- since we've been able to hold our annual Winter Wonders event with our very popular cookie sale at Richfield Heritage Preserve.
But we're back! Winter Wonders 2022 is Sat. 12/3 from 11am - 4pm.
Obviously so much has changed since 2019. Including our name. To more closely align with the park, we changed our name to Friends of Richfield Heritage Preserve from Friends of Crowell Hilaka, but our mission remains the same: to preserve, protect, enhance and promote Richfield Heritage Preserve, formerly Crowell Hilaka. Winter Wonders is one of our signature events to raise money for the work that we do.
Our cookie sale has been renamed, too. We're now calling it the WInter Wonders Bakery. To be more Covid-friendly, the cookie sale will not be self-service. We'll pack up the cookies in clear containers boxes ahead of time, for purchase during the event.
Please read the guidelines below, and let us know if you'll bake cookies or one of your holiday specialties for our bakery. We'll remind you a few times before the event. We'd like to know what you'll bake by mid-November.
Here are all this year's baking guidelines:
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
All the best,

Here are all this year's baking guidelines:
- All baked goods need to be made from scratch, homemade and “holiday special.”
- Please bake at least 4 dozen cookies of each variety of cookie.
- No chocolate chip cookies please!
- Important: do not bake if you have been sick, or are experiencing any Covid-like symptoms. We understand. Just email us and let us know, even if it's the day before.
- Cookies should be delivered in tubs to The Lodge (formely Gund Hall) at RHP on Friday 12/2 between 3-6pm. Let us know if you need to make other arrangements with us.
- Please label cookie containers so we can return them
- If you have a holiday baked good or other specialty that is NOT a cookie that you’d like to bake for the Winter Wonders Bakery, email us! We're interested!!
- Cookie container pick up: plan to pick up your cookie containers anytime between 9-5 on 12/3. That gives you the excuse to attend Winter Wonders 🙃
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
