Welcome to the Winter Wonders Bakery page!
Hello fellow bakers!
Before we know it, the holiday season will be here, including Winter Wonders, presented by the Friends of Richfield Heritage Preserve. Winter Wonders is December 7, 2024 from 11am- 4pm, and a big fundraising component of the day is the Winter Wonders Bakery. The WW Bakery raises money to support the ongoing restoration of Kirby's Mill. As we like to say, the dough makes dough.
Will you participate in this year's WW Bakery by baking cookies?
Like last year, we'll pack up the cookies in clear containers boxes the day before, for purchase during the event.
Please read the guidelines below, and let us know if you'll bake cookies or one of your holiday specialties for our bakery. One change is that you may now bake chocolate chip cookies, if that's a favorite. 🍪
Please sign up by replying to [email protected]. I'll remind you a few times before Winter Wonders, but we'd like to know what you'll bake by about November 15.

Baking guidelines:
- All baked goods need to be made from scratch, homemade and “holiday special.”
- Please bake at least 4 dozen cookies of each variety of cookie.
- Important: do not bake if you have been sick, feel unwell or are experiencing any Covid or flu-like symptoms. We understand. Just email me or text me and let me know, even if it's the day before.
- Cookies should be delivered in tubs to The Lodge (formerly Gund Hall) at RHP on Friday 12/6, 10am-4pm. If these times don't work for you, let us know!
- Please label cookie containers so we can return them.
- If you have a holiday baked good or other specialty that is NOT a cookie that you’d like to bake for the Winter Wonders Bakery, email us! We're interested!!
- Cookie container pick up: plan to pick up your cookie containers anytime between 9-5 on 12/7. That gives you the excuse to attend Winter Wonders :)
